The magical Ring of Gullion is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, steeped in myth and legend.
Slieve Gullion Mountain dominates the landscape of South Armagh and lies at the heart of a
volcanic centre which existed around 58 million years ago. Its surrounding hills were
shaped by the advancing ice of the last Ice Age 13,000 years ago. The highest surviving
Neolithic passage tomb in Ireland is on the top of the mountain.
Ann will take you on a passage through time during her guided tours. She will share
stories on the magnificent archeological sites, biodiversity, geology and literature
associated with this ancient area.
Tours will be tailor made to suit the interests and needs of groups or individuals.
